I was thinking about it and you know what I would do the entire draft trade. Think of it this way. I said I would do a first this year a first next year and jj for the pick. The firsts cancel out. Is a 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th and 7th round pick really worth more than JJ and a first next year? About the best year thing I would say that imo he did have the best year in CFB history or is at least in a tie with barry Sanders last year but for greatest cfb player of all time you have to look at a career and while vince has had a great career there are several who can claim a better career. One of them is Matt Leinart. This was the same argument I used against bush except that I didnt even think bush's year this year was anything near as special as it was made out to be.
