Dirk is a silky smooth forward who can post up some, but enjoys the outside. He is an excellent ballhandler and driver. He is a good rebounder defensively.
So his counterpart would be a dirty sob that likes to offensive rebound, that can post up a little.. to steal a Seinfeld phrase... Dallas needs a "mudder" at the 4. Because in the playoffs... every game is going to be muddy.
Van Horn just doesn't fit. And that is why a guy like PJ Brown is so important to get too. He's a mudder. His mother was a mudder.
