I was just reading the Followill report, and he reports that the Mavs never got the opportunity to work out Shawn Kemp yesterday. It was reported that Avery was going to take a look at him while in Houston visiting his family, but apparently something fell through.
Followill said he was intrigued by George Lynch, who currently lives in the Dallas area, and feels he might be the type guy Avery would like to have because he's a defensive specialist. Though his size makes him more of a 3, he could fill in at the 4 in certain situations. He feels there is a good chance some sort of move will be made.
