Yea I mean IMO this makes the Mavericks look desperate. The Mavericks can use a backup power foward but goodness we're naming Shawn Kemp, George Lynch and Christian Laettner. Guys other teams don't want. Why should the Mavs settle for them? Maybe if it was 10 years ago but now these guys are out of the league because their bodies can no longer take the contact. The Mavs would benefit in the long haul by giving those minutes to a Powell or a Benga. We gain nothing by signing these has-beens.
