he had just shown up with a friend at an apartment...
well, someone had called the cops because the music had been to loud.. by the time benson got there, the person that had the stereo up loud had taken the stereo and left..
well, the cops showed up and searched the house (without a warrant).. the girl that was living in the apartment had a small amount of marijuana in her purse (she wasn't there at the time)
benson and the girl that he showed up with were arrested.
the cops broke in to the apartment without a warrant (from reports from benson, they didn't even give him chance to open the door)...searched the place without a warrant..
found drugs in the girl's purse who is renting the apartment and arrested Benson...
they had absolutely nothing in which benson should have been arrested for..
and for the record, benson insisted that they administer a drug test.. which came back negative
