I was incredibly proud of Dirk last night. Not for the free throws or anything else that happened while he was in the game.

I was proud of Dirk for understanding the needs of the team and allowing himself to be pulled out of the game with 2 seconds left for defensive purposes. It sounds like a little thing but how many other superstars would allow themselves to be pulled regardless of the situation?

Gutsy of Avery to ask and amazing that Dirk went for it. Those two are definitely on the same page.
