Yes, but just because he can do something doesn't mean he should do it. Driving a motorcycle (especially without a helmet) is a disrespectful thing to do when you have an entire team full of players and a city full of fans banking on your health. He went against the warnings of Coach Cowher, the Rooney family and several of his teammates to appease his personal desires and now more people than just him are paying for it.
He always claimed he is a careful driver. Well, that may be true, but that still won't stop a 62-year old woman (go figure) from turning in front of you when you have right-of-way. Wearing a helmet won't help your surgically repaired knees either, when they crash into pavement moving 60 mph. When your entire team relies on your health, riding a motorcycle is, without a doubt, a very stupid and careless thing to do.
