PJ Tucker has a ridiculously low basketball IQ, something I feel the Mavs don't need more of. In what could only be considered the Texas equivalent of the Chris Webber timeout fiasco, Tucker dribbled out the shot clock in a tie ball game in what ended up being Texas's final possession in a game at College Station without taking a shot or even making an attempt to drive towards the bucket. For the talent he seems to possess, his lack of awareness and basketball IQ have seemed to make him a second round draft choice in about every single mock I've seen. If the best the Mavericks can get at 28 is PJ Tucker, then they seriously need to consider moving up or just trading the pick entirely.
