Default P.J. Brown

From the Star-Ledger:
Quote:
The last anyone heard, old friend P.J. BROWN was still wondering whether he wanted to stay with the Hornets for what is expected to be the final season of his career. "I just got to think long and hard if I'm going to play my last year with the Hornets," he said in April. He could ask for a trade (hard to do, he makes $8M), but the team might accommodate him if that's his choice. "I'm going to make it a point to talk to him before this draft," coach BYRON SCOTT said this week.

Successful Scenario

Due to Dallas being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Dallas had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
