when did roger clemens throw "well over a 100"? The hardest pitch nolan ryan ever threw was 100.9. Zumaya throws harder than that about once a game. I dont know who JR Richard is so im not gonna comment on him but when you are young is when you throw the hardest. To proclaim someone who ISNT a young gun as the best fastball in baseball history is purely nuts. Like i said, im not proclaiming him to be an all time great or anything as a pitcher. Im just saying that that one talent is the best in the history of baseball and he could never throw another pitch and it would still be true. This has absolutely nothing to do with what level of success he has.
