I've been tempted to say this, but I never could quite come to this conclusion. Back then, the Mavs had so much room for improvement with poor-fitting assets like Jamison and Walker on the roster. I think I'm still more inclined to say that Cuban improved the Mavs in spite of letting Nash go, rather than by letting Nash go.
