I wouldn't blame the loss in Game 7 on T-Mac. He wasn't spectacular, but he did enough to win. He missed one wide open three where I thought "Now the choking starts" but then he hit some shots and free throws to get his team the lead.
I would rather blame Yao for missing too many short-range jumpers and not getting one of the three defensive rebounds in the final two minutes that really killed the Rockets in the end (he misjudged at least one rebounding ball jumping up too early and allowing Boozer to grab it).
The difference in this game was Boozer. They simply couldn't contain him.
