I dont like the blow-it-up philosophy simply because this team made the finals last season. This team needs a tweek and some fire. That's it. And maybe some coaching flexibility.
If Terry and Howard cant make other teams pay for doubling and tripling Dirk, then we need to look for someone who can. A center who could catch and finish strong at the basket would also be nice.
