As far as Cassell goes both he and the owner of the Clippers are penny pinchers and don't want to give up a dime (on top of the owner apparently not even knowing how a buyout works) So I think Cassell could end up playing for the Clippers.
But it seems the best scenario for him if the owner refuses to budge may be to play for us, we have the mid-level exception so he wouldn't be losing much (he's owed $6 mil from the Clippers)
