It just seemed hokey to me.
I thought when this all started in s1 JJ/ Lindeloff said that everything that was happening was realistic (meaning not fantasy time travel crap). I don't get this angle at all.
The whole constant thing was just goofy. And the phone call to Penny seemed forced and out of place. I don't know, I guess I've been spoiled by the previous 4 episodes. They can't all be spectacular.
Maybe I'm just mad at Avery.... maybe I should have recorded the game, not the show.
