I doubt, Cuban will trade Dirk after this season. It's more likely that he keeps Dirk and Kidd for one more year surrounding them with a different set of players and trying a veteran coach. If that doesn't work out Dirk will still have enough value next year to get some young quality pieces for a fresh start. If Dirk goes, it will be a few years of rebuilding and... losing. Cherish him while he's here folks. Mavs fans have been fortunate these years, despite Dirk's failure to bring a 'ship to town.
