I think I read somewhere that he will count against their salary-cap also every year!! Ouch..And if they want to use it they'll have to renounce his rights.
So he gets more dollars and potentially is a free-agent to boot. Nice deal...NBA teams may want to do that but I expect it's in the cba agreement.
