The one draft I did a few weeks ago with my buddy we knew in advance of the draft what our pick was. Is this format how ya'll are used to doing it, or is it somewhat new for everyone else too?

We've always had the draft order determined randomly on Yahoo leagues. The commish can set the order (say if you are running a keeper league where the draft order is determined by the last year's order of finish), but in a standard league the random draft order has always been standard...
