There is much more truth to the article than most would believe.
Problem is -- there is nothing we can do about it. A large enough EMP wave takes out computer chips....ie cars, trucks, computers the regulate electricity, etc.
No way to get product to market. No way to save the food in refrigerator (no electricity). No way to drive anywhere.
It would take 2 weeks to 6 months to restore power, and by that time riots would have basically destroyed most major cities. People in the country wouldn't be safe either, because people would justify theft to save their family, while killing others.
No, the scenario is legit -- whether it will happen or not remains to be seen.
