Why in the world would we trade for him now instead of waiting until he is a free agent? I'd be hard pressed to support that move. Not because of any team chemistry concerns but because of the talent we would have to give up to acquire him when he has already stated he wants to A)test free agency and B)alluded that he wants to go to his home which is Texas.
This isn't the Mavericks we are talking about. It's the Cowboys. What Jerry wants, Jerry can get.
