IRVING, Texas - A lot certainly has changed since the last time the Cowboys and Cardinals squared off in Arizona in 2006. Tony Romo, who made just his third career start in that November game, has established himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. On the defensive side of the ball, outside linebacker Greg Ellis has made a full recovery from a career-threatening Achilles tendon injury. But most importantly, the Cowboys franchise has compiled a 22-7 record since that game and will try to add one more win to the number when the Cardinals play host to Dallas at 3:15 p.m. (CDT) Sunday at University of Phoenix Stadium.

What's Up?
While traveling to Arizona to face the Cardinals has usually meant an automatic victory for the Cowboys, winning 23 of their last 33 meetings against them since they moved out to the desert, a win this Sunday may be harder to achieve than in recent years. The Cardinals are coming off an impressive 41-17 victory over the previously undefeated Buffalo Bills (4-1) and sit alone atop the NFC West with a 3-2 record. Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner, who caught national attention lately for his thoughts of retirement, has returned to Pro Bowl form, throwing for 1,472 yards and 10 touchdowns so far this season.

For the Cowboys, it would be safe to say a 4-1 record has never been scrutinized more. After pulling out a nine-point victory over the Cincinnati Bengals this past Sunday, the Cowboys are somehow just a half-game out of first place in the NFC East. And, what's even more surprising, the Cowboys lead the league with 151 points scored. Sure makes you wonder why the sky is falling so fast.

* While the Cowboys defense is being praised for its fierce pass rush, it is the Cardinals who hold the longest streak in the NFL by registering a sack in 28 consecutive games. The Cowboys have the second-longest streak, bringing down the quarterback in 22 straight.

* Think Tony Romo throws too many interceptions? While he has thrown at least one in eight consecutive regular-season games, there are seven quarterbacks who have thrown as many or more interceptions than Romo's five this season. Included in that list are Pro Bowlers Peyton Manning and Drew Brees who have thrown five and six, respectively.

If the Cowboys secondary thought containing Bengals wide receivers Chad Ocho Cinco and T.J. Houshmandzadeh were a tough assignment, hanging with Larry Fitzgerald and Steve Breaston might be an even bigger chore. With Pro Bowler Anquan Boldin out with a facial injury, Breaston has logged 16 catches for 199 yards in his past two games, and Fitzgerald has compiled 467 yards and four touchdowns in five games. A deflection into the arms of outside linebacker Greg Ellis marks the only interception the Cowboys have recorded this year, so getting pressure on Kurt Warner and forcing the former NFL MVP into bad decisions will be a major focus for the Cowboys.
