dirk will never be the defender that duncan is, but duncan at the same time will never be the ball handler/shooter that dirk is.
can dirk pick up the low post moves that duncan has? of course. will he be as effective as duncan? eventually yes. while i dont think he would ever be as good as duncan on D, i do think he can become a servicable defender, and a mega star.
do i trade him for duncan? at this point, probably not.
