If it was on the right side of the court, josh was about ftline extened and dirk was about 5 feet from him closer to the ft-line then I think it was the same play.

It seems like bad spacing to me..You give it to dirk 5 feet away and your guy could double him immediately. Now if you then took off for the basket...........but that would take some innate bball iq.

I can agree with your contention also..But that would seem to a passive play versus a potentially more aggressive one. It seems defendable.
