well, Diop ended with a very respectable 4 pts and 6rbs in 11 minutes. I expect him to go on to garner 2 time MVP status, ala Steve Nash. Anyway, his last 2 games for the Bobcats were better than any of his games for the Mavs this year.

On the related note, Charlotte won in 2OT, which means almost nothing to the rest of the West, because everyone is so far behind the Lakers that .5 games doesn't mean jack. That is, unless this is the start of an ugly slide. Maybe they'll end the season on a lackadaisical and mediocre 20 game stretch and the Mavs can regain some respectability by upsetting the unbeatable #1 seed in the first round. Then we can laugh at all the Laker fans because we know how bad that feels.
