#'s are just #'s, but heart puts Payton and Emmitt way above Sanders. They had the records, the Rings, they actually showed up in the playoffs, were great men, and NEVER QUIT ON THEIR TEAM. Sanders had a lot of beautiful runs, but a lot of ugly ones as well. I'd think the guy that can pound it out, as well as break the big one(EMMITT) is better than they guy that usually got either -2 yards or 60.
