Well if you want to rank running backs on stats that is another thing. I don't think Emmitt would even say he is the greatest running back of all time matter of fact he has said he isn't better then Payton. I agree he isn't the greatest of all time but that rushing title does mean something. It took him 3 more games to get it then Payton and he was still well over that title mark. Guys like Payton, Barry and Brown can anyone honestly say they did the things Emmitt did? Could they block like him? Could they catch passes like him? It is more to being a running back then running the ball.
