A much better announcer than coach. His personality and charisma helped to inhance the illusion of his ability. He was mostly a figuer head for Al Davis. Had the best team in pro football for over a decade and only one superbowl to show for it. I was an avid Raider fan during the Sixty's Seventy's and early Eighty's. He was a very intertaining character who was afraid to fly and always drove to the games in his Camper until he got one of those bus's the music stars use on their tours.
