I would agree that he has had some shooting trouble, and may not be taking as big of a load as he normally does, but he kinda did this last year too. He steps it up and takes the load when it's needed though, and he'll be ready for the playoffs. I think his mindset changed a bit after winning 67 games and then losing in the first round, the playoffs are what matters and he'll gear it up full force when they come.

Keep in mind, Dirk did not come on during the playoffs, so that means he did NOT turn it up in the playoffs. I think turning it up is played out too much in the media, unless you are talking about a Top rated contender who plays very solid defense. Teams dont all of a sudden turn up defense when they are not a very solid defensive team. When the good defensive teams turn it up in the playoffs, it tones down those who try to turn it up on the offensive end. I think the more high level regular season games Dirk gets, the more than likely he will play at a high level in the playoffs. Remember we are talking about offense here.....
