Only when everybody started comparing Fins salary vs. Fins performance, did our hero decided it was time to disclose the so-called nagging injury. Not during his mid-season slump, not during the stretch run, not during his underwhelming playoff showing.

The mavs lacked leadership last season... and what did the great Mike Finley do when he knew his game had fallen off? Step aside while younger, more talented players got court time? Hell no. He decided he best served the team by standing behind the three-point line on the court and undermining the new coach's defensive philosophy behind the scenes.

Finley can suck it.
