I don't believe that Obama the individual is Evil, I however disagree strongly with policies and ideology that he endorses.

All of us are tempted by Evil, perhaps it is disguised and perceived to be good...but who am I to judge? I'm nobody...just a guy living his life.

I do agree, that we each have our own perspectives and beliefs as to what is Good and what is Evil. Most likely we are all right and wrong...again I nor you are perfect.

So what do we collectively do next, so that we are open to listen and respect other view points, while holding true to our inner core beliefs? Is there a set of Core Beliefs that collectively we can agree on? What are they?

Is something trivial like the burning of a symbol something that we can agree on it's action being right or wrong?
Perhaps we can get beyond the dualistic mentality. For myself, when I see a behavior or pattern in someone else that I feel strongly about, I try to understand that there is some projection taking place. Other people are our mirrors. The only thing we can really do to "help" the body politic is to reintegrate our shadow projections, which, in turn, completely shape the way we see the world around us. But, instead, we externalize our inner distortions and the world, in turn, becomes a crazy, chaotic mess. From an esoteric perspective, we are eating where we're sh!tting, and expecting to not get sick. If you dump all of your patterns and garbage into the world, get ready for the confrontation. You wanted a nice, simple, straight-shooting white-guy president, regardless of the fact that he was part of a Wall Street crime family... no worries as long as he is labeled a Conservative and puts on the stage show you like out of your authority figures. So now you get your projected opposite confrontation screaming through your unconscious into reality in the form of a black Socialist (Gawd forbid!!!)... awake yet kiddies? Probably not.
