I paid $2.06 for a gallon last week, and I drive about 25,000 miles a year. I get pissed everytime I have to fill up.

25,000 @ 21 miles/gal approx 1200 gallons. At current prices using Fish's formulas I am looking at about $800 in additional expenses per year.

I'm thinking of attaching a bunch of solar powered calculators to the roof of my car.
