Ferry, Brown get punk'd

Danny Ferry has vowed revenge.

The Cavaliers' general manager was horrified when he walked into his office in the new Cleveland Clinic Courts on Wednesday morning, just hours before the grand opening of the facility, to find a wall in his office painted Carolina blue with a huge North Carolina Tar Heels logo on the wall and on the window facing the court.

Ferry, of course, is a proud graduate of Duke University, archrival of North Carolina.
The prankster struck in coach Mike Brown's office, too, painting part of it a salmony pink.

Since the Cavs were meeting at the facility until late Tuesday night, the painting had to have been done in the overnight hours. The practical joke couldn't have been cheap, and it obviously was orchestrated by someone close enough to get the approval of owner Dan Gilbert.

Evidence points to a member of the ownership group with North Carolina ties. . . . and he'd better watch his back. Ferry and Brown have joined forces to pay back the perpetrator of this dastardly deed.
