in thinking back thru the playoffs, i think trevor daley was quietly awesome. i rarely remember him being out of position, getting out-fought for pucks, or getting burned by speedy wingers. truthfully, i can hardly remember him out there in a bad situation. in some ways, a good defenseman is like a good referee - if you don't notice they're there, they are probably doing a good job.

plus he has the speed and skating skills to join the rush effectively, if he can ever get his shot on net consistently.

i think he really came into his own this year and should be a top 4 blueliner in dallas for as long as they can lock him up for.
