Well clinton did get a majority of the votes that were split between bush I, dole and perot. But no he never got a majority of the voters.

But clinton did beneift from Bush 1's read my lips and Dole's vacuousness.

Also benefitted from the democrats complete lust for power and willingness to accept anything in their leader if they could stay in power. Nothing shames them. He can cheat, lie (under oath) cheat on his wife (multiple times), allow nuclear secrets to be sold to china, do absolutely nothing while al queida grew. And the dems will vote for him everytime. They would even NOW vote for ted kennedy. Unserious people.
