Why would Phoenix do it? I don't know
Why would Memphis do it? Better LT contract & Defensive Player
Why Would Dallas do it? Gasol is 7 ft who is a terrific inside player and who can draw fouls. Something the mavs need. He might not be a good defender but with dirk at 7 ft and Gasol at 7ft and bradley at 7'10 then who knows.
