If we're not able to become a contender, I really would not mind Kidd and Nowitzki going to Portland to play with Roy/Oden and the rest of the young Blazers.

We either become a contender or blow it up... in between doesn't really appeal to me... I would hate to see a year of Dirk's prime to be wasted in mediocrity, and same with Kidd.
