Throughout their history, the Mavs have had stellar offence and mediocre defense, often because management prefers flashing scorers over gritty defenders. Our new management values defenders more, and I am glad for it. there is no WCF without Bullock.

Dumping him is not as dumb as getting rid of Tyson Chandler. But is the same type of dumb move. Defenders who are also scorers are rare and expensive. The Mavs don't have a problem getting enough points. They have a problem holding leads, and without Bullock, that stat would be much worse.
