Most intriguing tonight is how Mavs offense looks vs a switch-heavy Nets defense.
Teams switched a lot more in first 3 gms forcing Luka, Spencer and Wood play iso-heavy ball and limited spot-ups for shooters.
Switch is Nets primary p&r coverage so interesting how Mavs adjust
Hunting Kyrie with guard/guard actions is probably one option. Bc others (Simmons, KD, Royce O'Neal, Claxton) can switch 2-5.
Nic Claxton was in top 10 last yr among screen defenders by number of switches. Only Al Horford was a more efficient defender in switch in top 10.
Another option is Wood as a screener. Both this season and last season, Wood is a player who is facing most switches as a screener in the NBA.
Last yr he was not very efficient (e.g. Porzinigis was better), but is very good so far: Mavs score 1.257 ppc when teams switch vs Wood
