Frey looks like he could be a player on the order of Thurl Bailey or Dale Davis--solid but not a star.

Robinson and Lee are fun to watch at times, if for no other than that they play with energy---lots of mistakes but energy. Unlike most of the rest of the players Thomas has pulled in here, they don't have the big bloated, motivation-sapping, attitude-hardening contracts. But the jury is still out on them--way out.

Thomas has made tons of mistakes, not the least of which has been jettisoning draft picks. Drafting has been the area where he's done the least harm, so it is ironic that he's kneecapped himself on draft picks.

The 24-second clock on Zeke's tenure as GM is winding down. The drama will be in whether he gets off one last wild shot.
