He doesn't appear to be very athletic. A lot of his close to the rim shots are layups instead of hard dunks. So honestly, his play kind of looks like a Zaza type player. The difference with Mejri and especially JaValle is that those guys were 7 footers that could leap like the 6'6" guys. This will hurt his blocks and defense in the NBA as opposing players learn to shoot over taller guys without significant leaping ability.

I don't see this as hurting his offense and possibly rebounding too much though as he will probably just use his big body to get into position. I project him as more of a raw Enes Kanter that might develop into more of an offensive player rather than defensive.
