I think it will depend on who we sign for a center this season. If we get a guy like Howard or Whiteside then he is most likely D-league bound at best. If we spend all of our money on a wing and PG and end up with a Hibbert caliber center then I could see Rick giving him an opportunity.
I'm wondering how much we'd know about Anderson if Parsons wouldn't have gotten hurt. Hell, we went through nearly a half season with virtually no meaningful minutes for Salah when McGee was out and Zaza was getting run into the ground. It wasn't until Rick gave up completely on McGee after he came back from injury that he gave Salah an opportunity.
I love everything about Rick except for that one low tolerance for inexperienced mistakes issue. I do understand why he does it though.
