Dallas receives: C Theo Ratliff (7.8 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 0.9 apg in 41 games)
PF Shareef Abdur-Rahim (19.5 ppg, 9.4 rpg, 2.5 apg in 41 games)
Change in team outlook: -6.8 ppg, -4.0 rpg, and -4.5 apg.

TRADE ACCEPTED

Dallas does this to get some low post defense and scoring.

ATL does this b/c Shareef & Ratliff both want to be traded. Walker's salary will come off the books next year AND they get prized young prospect, Josh Howard.

I know nobody wants to trade Howard - but he may be our most tradeable asset. He's young and inexpensive. If you're going to ask another team to dance with you - you've got to make it appealing to them.
