The problem with this is then a lot of people won't post here because not everyone wants to watch 10 know-it-all geeks discuss the Mavericks like Trekkies discuss Star Trek. Why can't you have both? These boards are much worse off not being "fun" then they are with a lack of "intelligent" conversation. There are plenty of intelligent posts still being posted. If you have something intelligent, then post it. Stop bitching though, it's embarrassing, even for a fan board.
Lots of people come here just to root for the team. What is wrong with that? Longhorn was rooting for Kidd, big deal.
