City/Black Mayor
New York - David Dinkins
LA - Tom Bradley
Chicago - Harold Washington
Dallas - Ron Kirk
Houston - Lee Brown
Philadelphia - Wilson Goode
Washington D.C (sad that this has become so big actually ) - Marion Berry
Miami - None
Atlanta - Maynard Jackson
Boston - None

Now this doesn't mean anything in general, it does say that there is not so much racism in the south that they will not elect a minority if they are qualified. (I guess some would call that a racist statement....sheesh)

But the south is consistently called backwards, racist, etc., etc.,etc. It's all a racket, a con game that needs to stop.
