I'm not dismissing anyone. I fully recognize how great Landry was and how significant he was. I've read both his autobiography and Staubach's biography. I assure you, I have pretty damn good grasp on the entire Landry era Cowboys teams and their significance for someone that never saw a game.

The poll, however, was for the most beloved. Not most important, most impactful, or best. And I have far, far more attachment to many other Dallas sports figures.
