Or Vermont. Or Connecticut. Or New Hampshire. Or Washington D.C. Or Iowa. Or New York. Or Washington. Or Maine. Or Maryland. Or Rhode Island. Or Delaware. Or Minnesota.

California would be a very good prospect as well. Or Illlinois, perhaps, sooner rather than later.

A little bit longer-term prospects would be Michigan, Virginia, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Florida and Ohio, all states where the most recent polling shows majority public support for marriage equality, but which would require some heavy legislative lifting.

Unless Justice Kennedy........never mind. Too early.

Otherwise, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Canada, South Africa, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, Ideland, Argentina (where recently-elected South Carolina Republican congressman Mark Sanford met his mistress-fiancée!), Denmark, Uruguay, New Zealand, or France.

In brief, the ladies have options.
