Motivation. Hall of Famer, will motivate his players, but that only goes so far. Players have to trust the coach fully. Players have bought in. Hoping it lasts for a good while. I think him sitting behind Vogel, having the birds eye view at Vogel helped him big time. When he first landed the Brooklyn job, Lawrence Frank was essentially playing the head role, the lockerroom was divided. In Milwaukee, he showed his ability to see a player....Giannis and see him 3-4 years down the road....it was a rough road early on....but he kept at him. Put him at the point in summer league. But his coaching style...when something was broke, he didn't want to fix it.

It's going to be typical road, things get bumpy....ah same ol' Kidd as in Brooklyn and Milwaukee....things going great, huh, he's learned some things.
