“It’s on!” proclaims the official Facebook page of the Dallas Greenville Avenue St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Canceled in 2020 and 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic, the fun returns March 12, the Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day, with a 2-mile parade featuring floats, bagpipers and beads, and a block party and concert by the Toadies. And who better to lead the 41st parade than No. 41 himself, Dallas Mavericks icon Dirk Nowitzki, who was announced as grand marshal in a Tuesday release from the Greenville Avenue Area Business Association.
