not to question a mod.....but LIVE they are guitar and drums, but in the studio Jack White plays several different toos to get it done...like a bass for seven nation army..but you are right live, he uses he guitar!

I play bass...and i guess it could all be down to different tunings....but it just sounds like a guitar to me...a guitar playing a bassline.
