First of all, Thomas Sowell is an economist, not a lawyer or trained in the law. That would be a rather unprecedented move.

Second of all, Thomas Sowell common folk? I'm not saying he's snooty but he's the farthest thing from common folk. A well published author and respected economic mind. He's among the conservative elite, hardly 'just folks'.
